Nanette Lepore was born to a professor of art in Ohio in 1964.

She moved to New York City and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. She successfully graduated from there with a degree in design

Nanette founded her fashion label in 1992 in New York City.

Her style is based around prints that utilized bold colors and are very well fitted. Nanette loves fine detailing and is very good at creating clothes that are easy to wear yet very chic.

Through her work she became one of the biggest names in contemporary fashion.
